I loved this Buffet! The food was great, the price was super awesome! Everything was very clean; specially the restrooms, had a clean smell. The staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Will definitely recommend to our friends and come back soon. A hidden gem in South Fort Worth.

First of all let me say the dude doing hibachi was ... He was awesome. Excellent customer service, very pleasant and polite...

We got in waited about 10 mins before being seated... Everyone was cool and prompt. Getting our drinks on time and correct. Y'all know I ordered the sweet tea with lemon... it was mediocre at best... It was 10 adults and 5 kids so we were in there.

The food look fresh, hot and enticing... I was surprised to the selection but also disappointed that they didn't have sushi at this time....

So what do I do hit up the hibachi grill. I can never go wrong with grilled veggies....  my family was all over the place they sampled some of everything... Anywho Cupcake has the green beans and broccoli which was great and Izzy chicken nuggets and sautéed shrimp.. Ybey both had the chocolate/vanilla yogurt  once they were finished. I didn't like the look lol.....

It was really clean and the restrooms were cleans as well... So now we're winding down and it time for the check. The front sign says kid up to 3 and under eat FREE. Over that it's $5.99 up to 12 yrs old.... adults were $11.99 each and drinks $1.99.. Everyone was good until wetold them we were all separate families... We he manager got an attitude out of this world.... uuummmm excuse me Sir you didn't ask if we were all together or paying separately.... So why the attitude???? Seems like he just started charging extra just because ummm what are you charging me so we can all be on the same page????? He became overly obnoxious and very very rude and I did not like it!!!!! Just know this is our first and last time.. We will NOT be coming back at all!!!!! They got a 1 star because his ridiculous shenanigans was more than we could handle....

The staff was insane. Like no joke. One was singing la la la while walking by. Two other ladies were DANCING. Like right next to us and i'm very confused. The food was cold and soggy. Like it was disgusting!!! I couldn't even finish my plate. The crawfish had NO taste. No juice. Nothing.

When we got our drinks (sprite, water, tea, and dr.pepper) she just set them down and walked away. Like what. We had to look for bubbles to find differences.

Since the quality was so bad we needed to talk to management. They didn't have management. HOW CAN A WHOLE BUFFET HAVE NO MANAGEMENT. But we didn't have to pay because the lady at the front was really nice. We even insisted paying for drinks and such.

    Also the fortunes sucked.

This place sucked. And I really wanted to like it!

The wait staff was basically nonexistent. They were watching soccer when we had empty drinks and were done eating waiting a good while for the check. Our waitress was also yelling at other employees in the kitchen.

The food was just...not good. There were like 3 kinds of sushi (all California rolls, except some had cream cheese inside and others didn't). The meat at the hibachi station had flies, and a lot of the other meats tasted off, to say the least.

The restaurant is dark, dusty, and dirty. Don't even touch the windows or the area by them! They are so dirty. The price was low (8$ each), but it was not worth the money, in my opinion. I certainly won't come back.

If one chooses a name like GRAND BUFFET to put on a restaurant then your Buffet should be Grand, right?

Well in my option this place wasn't grand. I arrived at 5:00 pm for dinner (but in all honesty it was my late lunch) and was greeted at the door and escorted to a table at the back of the restaurant....which was a bit odd because there was only one other couple eating in the entire restaurant at the time I entered. But no worries, I figured I the walk to the buffet bar would do me good, I could walk off the sweet and sore sauce each trip back and forth to my table.....way back in the corner, all alone.

I place my drink order and head to towards the buffet. At first glance it seems wonderful, but on closer inspection you realize that the selection is slim and the quantity is small.   However, I snag some Asian favorites and walk back to my station in the back corner.

Still no drink on the table, that's odd because it took me a few minutes to fill my plate and walk alllllll the way back to the assigned table....but again, no worries I said to myself, I'll ask the first waitstaff I see for a glass of water.

Seven minutes into my meal, still no waitstaff.   So I go and find someone and ask for water....a few minutes later a young female drops off the water and leaves without a single word spoken.

I would like to say I didn't go back for a second plate (fruit, a scoop of fried rice and two almond cookies....stop judging me) but that would be a lie.   But during my meal or my second trip across the restaurant to get my food I never saw my waitstaff again.

I didn't even get a bill or fortune cookie...I went to the front told them what I had and paid the cashier.

I was very disappointed with Grand Buffet.....name change suggestion
"Mediocre Buffet".   It has a nice ring to it.  Slogan could be something like: come join us at Mediocre Buffet where food AND service are just one step above bad".

Come Grand Buffet, I expect more from you.  You can do better, after all U R GRAND!

    Happy Eating Y'all!
